Job summary

Randstad Construction and Property is seeking a Senior Engineer to join a tier-two civil engineering contractor on a civils infrastructure project near Reading. You will lead site technical control, manage engineering teams, and drive delivery standards for a high-profile asset upgrade.

The role requires direct delivery experience, a Civil Engineering qualification, and active man-management of subcontractors, with a strong focus on ITPs, RAMS, SSoW, and on-site safety governance.

Qualifications

• Must have direct delivery experience in civil engineering projects.
• Strong site leadership and team management capabilities.
• Experience with RAMS, ITPs, and Safe Systems of Work.
• Good understanding of design coordination and RFI processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee high-accuracy setting out and quality handovers.
• Coordinate design interfaces and review complex drawings.
• Prepare and approve RAMS and SSoW for site works.
• Lead subcontractors and on-site resources to a baselined program.
• Uphold HSEQ and ensure conformance with standards.
