Job summary

Ballymore is seeking a Senior Site Engineer for The Capston (EG AO1) in Vauxhall, Nine Elms. You will report to the Project Manager and lead on-site technical delivery, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring safety, quality and programme adherence on a flagship regeneration scheme.

Based on your on-site experience, you will review drawings, manage RFIs/NCRs and support temporary works. Daily records and photos will keep management informed of progress and decisions.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with construction delivery focus and relevant site experience.
• Valid CSCS card and UK construction site competencies.
• SMSTS qualification and First Aid certification mandatory.
• Temporary Works knowledge and qualification desirable.
• Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification site experience on major schemes.

Responsibilities

• Manage contractors' daily activities and coordinate works with other trades on site.
• Lead health, safety and site logistics to ensure compliant operations.
• Conduct subcontractor coordination meetings, record minutes and updates.
• Support Project Manager in managing contractor packages from start to finish.
• Perform QA inspections to ensure works meet drawings and specs.
• Inspect works for compliance with drawings, regs and standards.
• Facilitate RFI and NCR processes between design teams and contractors.
• Review drawings to assess constructability before works commence.
• Produce progress reports and maintain site records and photos.
