Job summary

Falcon Green in London is seeking an experienced Site Engineer for a major regeneration development in Wandsworth. You will set out and survey works, support the Site and Project Management teams, and ensure works are delivered on time and to required standards.

The role requires strong setting-out experience, ability to read drawings, and a good grasp of construction methods. You will liaise with subcontractors, carry out quality checks, and contribute to QA, ITPs and handover documentation to

Qualifications

• Proven site engineering experience on major construction projects.
• Strong setting-out capability against drawings and specifications.
• Experience across residential, high-rise, commercial or mixed-use schemes.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings accurately.
• Solid understanding of construction methods and quality control processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Set out and survey construction works on site.
• Provide engineering support to Site Management team.
• Review drawings, specifications and technical information.
• Verify works are built to correct levels, lines and tolerances.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and site teams.
• Carry out quality inspections and maintain records.
• Support QA, ITPs and handover documentation.

• Monitor progress to ensure alignment with the programme.

A Tier 1 Main Contractor needs an experienced Site Engineer to join a major new development in Wandsworth, one of London's most prestigious regeneration projects. The project forms part of the next phase of development.

About the Role

The Role As a Site Engineer, you will provide technical and engineering support across the project, working closely with the Site and Project Management teams to ensure works are delivered accurately, safely and to programme.

Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying construction works.
• Providing engineering support to the Site Management team.
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical information.
• Checking works are being constructed to the correct levels, lines and tolerances.
• Liaising with subcontractors and site teams.
• Carrying out quality inspections and maintaining accurate records.
• Supporting QA, ITPs and handover documentation.
• Identifying and resolving technical issues on site.
• Monitoring progress and ensuring works are delivered in accordance with the programme.

Qualifications

• Degree/HNC/HND in Civil Engineering, Construction or a related discipline is desirable.
