Job summary

ARC Group in Norwich is recruiting an experienced Senior Site Engineer for a major energy infrastructure project. The role is an initial 6-month contract on a live National Grid site with potential for long‑term opportunities.

You will be responsible for general setting out duties, mentoring junior engineers, completing ITPs and QA documentation, and working closely with site management to deliver works safely, accurately and in line with project requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Civils / Infrastructure Engineering.
• Experience on major projects (utilities, energy, substations or similar advantageous).
• National Grid Persons / SR163 competency (or willing to undertake).
• Experience working on live sites with permit systems.

Major Infrastructure Project | Ongoing Contract | £375-£500 per day DOE

ARC are recruiting for an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join a major energy infrastructure project in Norwich.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a significant National Grid project, initially for 6 months with the potential for further long-term opportunities.

The Role:

• General setting out duties
• Supporting and mentoring junior engineers
• Completing ITPs, quality assurance documentation and technical queries
• Working closely with site management and project teams
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately and in line with project requirements
• Working within a live National Grid environment

Requirements:
