Carrington West is seeking a Site Engineer for a Battery Energy Storage System project in Norwich. You will set out works, manage QA documentation and coordinate buried services, ensuring safety and compliance on site.
Responsibilities include setting out cable ducts, earthworks, reinforced concrete foundations and drainage, plus coordinating permits and QA/ITPs with the engineering team for smooth client handover. 6-month contract, outside IR35, £350-£400/day.

Our client is looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join a Battery Energy Storage project in Norwich. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a fast-paced civils package, with the potential to move straight onto another scheme once this project is complete.
As Site Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of the civils package, taking responsibility for setting out, quality assurance and buried services coordination across the project. You will be involved in setting out cable ducts, earthworks, reinforced concrete pad foundations and a small amount of deep drainage works. You'll also work closely with the wider engineering team to ensure QA documentation and ITPs are completed ready for client handover, whilst managing buried service avoidance plans, issuing permits and ensuring excavation activities are carried out safely and in line with project requirements.
We are interviewing for this position immediately. The role is Monday-Friday, 7:00am-5:00pm.
