Bennett & Game Recruitment is seeking a Graduate Setting Out Engineer to join our South East operational team. You will set out across roads, drainage, foundations and external works on multiple residential developments, while supporting Senior Engineers and producing site drawings with AutoCAD.

You should have a Civil Engineering degree and a driving licence; Leica TS16 experience is advantageous. A permanent role with strong progression is on offer, with a company van, bonus, healthcare and

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience as Setting Out Engineer in groundworks, infrastructure or residential civils is advantageous.
• Experience using Leica TS16 equipment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Set out across groundwork and infrastructure projects for major residential developments.
• Support Senior Engineers.
• Produce and interpret site drawings using AutoCAD.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.
• Coordinate with Site Managers, Foremen and Contracts Managers.
• Manage QA and as-built information where required.

Location: South East England

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE + Van + Fuel Card + Bonus

Bennett & Game Recruitment are proud to be working with a well-established and highly respected Civil Engineering and Groundworks Contractor who are seeking an Graduate Setting Out Engineer to join their growing operational team across the South East.

Established for over 30 years, this privately owned contractor specialises in infrastructure, groundworks and civil engineering works for major UK residential developers. Operating across approximately 30 live sites at any one time, the business has built an outstanding reputation for quality delivery, staff retention and long-term client relationships. The company currently has around 500 operatives on site alongside a dedicated technical and management team and boasts a strong forward workload valued at approximately £150m.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Graduate Site Engineer looking for a long-term permanent position within a stable and financially secure contractor that genuinely invests in its staff and offers long-term career progression.

Setting Out Engineer Job Overview
