Job summary

Omega Resource Group, Nottingham area, seeks an experienced Electrical Engineering Leader to assume the role of Site Duty Holder. You will provide technical leadership, governance, and strategic direction across all electrical systems in a complex manufacturing environment.

You will influence major investments, drive energy efficiency, and develop the electrical engineering capability while ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading electrical functions in manufacturing or process industries.
• Strong knowledge of LV/HV electrical distribution systems.
• Experience operating as an Electrical Duty Holder, Senior Authorised Person or similar.
• Electrical compliance, governance, and audit experience.
• Experience managing engineering teams and developing technical capability.
• Commercial awareness including contractors, budgets.
• Time-served Electrical Apprentice.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations desirable.
• HV Authorized Person qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead as Site Electrical Duty Holder delivering governance, compliance, and strategic direction.
• Influence major investment projects and long-term electrical infrastructure plans.
• Drive energy and sustainability initiatives and develop engineering capability.
• Ensure reliability and availability of LV/HV systems across the site.
• Collaborate with safety, projects, operations, and environmental teams.
