Job summary

Omega in Nottingham is looking for a Head of Electrical Engineering to lead the electrical function at a flagship manufacturing site. You will ensure compliance, drive sustainability initiatives, and develop a high-performing engineering team.

As the Senior Site Duty Holder, you will provide strategic direction and technical leadership, impacting site performance directly. This role offers a salary up to £70,000 with additional benefits in a collaborative engineering leadership environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of LV/HV electrical distribution systems.
• Experience as Electrical Duty Holder or Senior Authorised Person.
• Experience managing engineering teams and developing capability.
• Commercial awareness including contractors and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership across the electrical engineering function.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and engineering standards.
• Support and develop Deputy Duty Holders across the site.
• Drive continuous improvement in electrical safety performance.
