Contract Scotland is seeking an experienced Site Agent to join a major infrastructure project in Scotland. You will lead multidisciplinary site teams and ensure works are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards.

The role offers a long-term contract of at least six months with a day rate of £500-£550 under PAYE only. CIS or Limited Company arrangements are not available.

Competenze

• Previous experience as Site Agent or senior site management in civil engineering or infrastructure.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.
• Solid knowledge of health and safety legislation, quality management and programming.
• Experience with pavement reconstruction or wider infrastructure works, including testing and handover.
• Strong commercial awareness: cost control and forecasting; NEC contracts knowledge.
• Valid SMSTS and CSCS cards.
• Full driving licence.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.

• Lead, motivate and manage site teams to meet objectives.
• Promote health, safety and environmental culture with site inspections and audits.
• Coordinate resources, subcontractors and engineering activities to maintain progress.
• Monitor construction programmes and set productivity targets.
• Manage quality control, site audits, testing and handover documentation.
• Support commercial management, including cost forecasting and budget control.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain project records.
• Attend regular project meetings and ensure compliance with specifications and contracts.
