Job summary

Mint Selection is seeking an experienced Site Agent to oversee civil engineering works in Aberdeen. You will lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors and drive delivery safely, on programme and within budget.

The role requires a strong civils background, proven on-site leadership and a track record of delivering infrastructure projects. SMSTS/CSCS are preferred and NEC contract familiarity is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Heavy civils experience essential.
• Proven site agent delivery on civil/infrastructure projects.
• Leadership of site teams and subcontractors; safety and program focus.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily site operations: labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.
• Lead Sub Agents, Engineers and Foremen, ensuring clear responsibilities.
• Develop and manage short-term programmes in line with the overall construction schedule.
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with technical drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
• Oversee RAMS and safe systems of work, maintaining high health, safety and environmental standards.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, resolving site issues and managing competing priorities.
• Manage inspections, testing, quality records and handover documentation.
• Monitor costs, support forecasting and maintain accurate site records.
• Lead progress meetings and report on programme, productivity and delivery risks.
