1.1About Aegis Energy:

Aegis Energy is accelerating the decarbonisation of the UK road freight sector. By developing a network of refuelling and recharging stations that can serve renewable natural gas, hydrogen, and electricity to Heavy Goods Vehicles (‘HGVs’) and Light Goods Vehicles (‘LGVs’) across the UK, we will enable critical supply chains to decarbonise and lead to cleaner air in our cities.

1.2About the role:

We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Senior Site Acquisition Manager to join our growing Site Acquisition Team at Aegis Energy. This role will be instrumental in supporting the delivery of our national infrastructure programme, focused on the rollout of commercial EV and clean transport sites.

Reporting directly to the Head of Site Acquisition, the Senior Site Acquisition Manager will take ownership of end-to-end acquisition activity across assigned regions or workstreams.

1.3Qualifications and Previous Experience:

• A full, clean UK driving licence is required, as frequent travel and site visits form part of the role.
• A degree in Real Estate, Planning, Geography, Finance, or a related commercial or technical discipline is required.
• MRICS qualification is strongly preferred and will be considered essential for most candidates. Exceptional individuals with relevant experience who are actively progressing through the APC pathway may also be considered.
• Candidates should have 5–8 years of relevant experience in site acquisition, development, or land transactions. Ideally, this experience is within commercial real estate, logistics, energy, or infrastructure sectors. Experience gained at a property developer, consultancy, or agency is highly desirable.
• Proven track record in identifying, appraising, and negotiating land deals, including a strong understanding of site-level valuation, market dynamics, and development constraints.
• Experience working at a commercial property agency with exposure to industrial, logistics, or infrastructure sites.
• Experience in planning or exposure to the planning process is strongly encouraged, to ensure an end-to-end understanding of site delivery from acquisition through to development.
• Involvement in site sourcing, acquisition, or disposals - particularly for logistics, energy, or transport-related developments.
