Job summary

AMD's networking silicon team seeks a verification engineer to advance next-generation network processors and SmartNIC technologies. You'll build verification plans, develop directed and constrained-random tests, and drive automation and AI-assisted workflows across hardware, firmware, software, and system-level use cases.

You'll collaborate with architects and engineers globally, apply modern verification methodologies, and contribute to silicon quality, debug productivity, and time-to-market

Qualifications

• Experience with IP-level ASIC verification and verification planning.
• Strong debugging skills for RTL and firmware using standard tools.
• Ability to build reusable verification components and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects, HW and firmware engineers to define verification requirements.
• Develop verification plans spanning hardware, firmware, software and system use cases.
• Create directed and constrained-random tests and verification environments.
• Estimate verification effort and identify enhancements to environments.
• Debug failures and drive coverage closure with RTL/firmware teams.
• Advance verification methodologies across simulation, emulation and data analytics.
• Develop automation solutions using AI-assisted workflows to boost productivity.
• Promote continuous improvement of verification processes via scripting and automation.
