Job summary

AMD in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced verification engineer to join the networking silicon team, focusing on next-generation network processors and SmartNIC verification. You will design directed and constrained tests, build verification environments, and deploy automation and AI-assisted workflows to improve coverage, debug productivity, and time-to-market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (Electrical/Computer Engineering).
• Proficient in IP-level ASIC verification and UVM-based testbenches.
• Strong SystemVerilog experience with RTL debugging and verification methodologies.
• Experience with Python, C/C++, and AI-assisted engineering tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects, hardware and firmware engineers to define verification requirements.
• Develop comprehensive verification plans spanning hardware, firmware, software and system-level use cases.
• Create directed and constrained-random tests and verification environments.
• Build automation infrastructure and improve coverage through analysis and test development.
• Debug failures to identify root causes and drive fixes with RTL/firmware teams.
• Drive functional and code-coverage closures through targeted test development.
