Job summary

AMD is seeking a Senior Silicon Design Engineer to join its Networking Technology & Solutions IP Group, expanding data center design teams in Edinburgh and Belfast. You will lead the design of complex ASIC blocks for high-performance networking silicon and influence architecture and RTL implementations, working across verification, physical design and validation to achieve first-silicon success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electronic Engineering, CS, or related field.
• Hands-on ASIC/SoC design experience with Verilog/SystemVerilog.
• Proven track record delivering complex digital hardware to silicon and optimizing power/area.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of complex ASIC blocks for data center networking silicon.
• Translate requirements into RTL implementations and microarchitecture decisions.
• Collaborate with verification, physical design and validation teams for first-silicon success.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive power/area optimizations.
