Network Rail is seeking a Senior Signalling Maintenance Support Engineer to ensure the safe, reliable operation of signalling assets across the Central Route, based in Birmingham. You will plan and carry out Level 1 assurance activities and work with delivery units, asset engineers and suppliers to improve maintenance and asset performance.
The role requires an Incorporated or Chartered Engineer with strong knowledge of signalling standards and asset management.
Qualifikationen
- Incorporated Engineer, Chartered Engineer or equivalent professional registration.
- Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject; membership of a professional institution.
Aufgaben
- Provide signalling asset management and engineering support across the function, region and route.
- Plan and carry out Level 1 assurance activities with delivery units; identify improvements.
- Review derogation and non-compliance applications relating to signalling standards.
- Monitor asset condition and contribute to asset renewal proposals and route asset management plans.
- Lead and participate in engineering assurance activities and investigations where required.
