Network Rail in Basingstoke Downside is recruiting for a Technician - Signalling Maintenance. The role involves supporting the Team Leader, delivering safe, high-quality work, and performing inspections, fault-finding, and renewal tasks on signalling equipment within a safety-critical operations environment.

The role requires experience in safe systems of work, a strong safety culture, and a valid driving licence.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience planning and implementing safe systems of work.
• Strong team player with ability to motivate and embed safety culture.
• Knowledge of signalling inspection, faulting, maintenance, and renewal techniques.
• NVQ Level 1 or 2 or equivalent experience.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to drive.

Aufgaben

• Deliver work safely and efficiently in line with approved systems, standards, and procedures.
• Carry out inspections, maintenance, and fault-finding on signalling equipment to keep the network running smoothly.
• Ensure tools, vehicles, and equipment are fit for use and properly maintained.
• Accurately report completed work and maintain essential records.
