Job summary

Blinds2Go is seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to work on our Shopify storefront, with hands-on experience in Shopify Liquid, the Storefront API, and custom app development. You will help shape our codebase structure and establish best practices across the team.

You will maintain and extend Shopify themes, templates, and sections, build custom apps and extensions, and collaborate with backend engineers to deliver fast, accessible shopping experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience with Shopify development including Themes, APIs, Apps, Functions and Extensions.
• 3-5 years of experience in eCommerce.
• Strong communication and ability to document technical work clearly.

Responsibilities

• Review and establish sound structure and practices for the Shopify codebase.
• Maintain and extend Shopify storefronts, themes, templates, and sections built with Liquid.
• Build and maintain custom Shopify apps, functions, and extensions.
• Integrate with Shopify APIs, GraphQL, and REST to power custom shopping experiences.
• Develop reusable components and front-end libraries for the design system.
• Translate UI/UX designs into production-ready code.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, accessibility.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and services.
• Write technical documentation and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues.
