Job summary

Sonata Software seeks a highly experienced Microsoft SharePoint & Exchange Hybrid Engineer with enterprise-level expertise across SharePoint Online, SharePoint On-Premises, Exchange Online, and Exchange On-Premises. You will own enterprise SharePoint architecture, administration, troubleshooting, migration and hybrid solutions, alongside Exchange administration and hybrid messaging support.

The role covers SharePoint design, patching, upgrades, DR, performance, and hybrid migrations, plus

Qualifications

15–20 years of IT experience across enterprise environments (SharePoint/Exchange).
Strong experience with both SharePoint Online and SharePoint On-Premises.
Proven experience with Exchange Online and Exchange On-Premises.
Experience delivering hybrid SharePoint/Exchange architectures for large enterprises.
Active SC Security Clearance and ability to work in UK environments.

Responsibilities

Design, administer and support enterprise SharePoint Online and On-Premises environments.
Develop and manage SharePoint Hybrid solutions and migrations to SharePoint Online.
Administer Exchange Server and Exchange Online, including Hybrid configurations.
Troubleshoot complex SharePoint and Exchange issues and ensure security posture.
Provide expert guidance, workshops and training to customers.
Support Microsoft 365 modernization initiatives.
