Job summary

Mastek Limited is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Solution / Platform Architect to lead a strategic data architecture engagement within a high-profile UK public sector organisation.

The role focuses on transforming the ServiceNow platform into a trusted enterprise service management capability, establishing robust data architecture, advancing CMDB and CSDM maturity, and enabling future platform capabilities including AI, automation, IAM, IT Asset Management and ES Enterprise Service Management.

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering enterprise-scale ServiceNow architecture.
• CMDB transformation and implementation experience.
• CSDM transformation and implementation experience.
• Experience designing ServiceNow data architecture.
• Experience leading consultations on ServiceNow platforms.
• Public sector or highly regulated industry experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Experience developing governance frameworks.
• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect.

Responsibilities

• Define the target-state ServiceNow data architecture.
• Develop architectural principles for future platform growth.
• Establish data standards and architecture guardrails.
• Align ServiceNow architecture with enterprise architecture principles.
• Review licensing capabilities to assess CMDB and CSDM readiness.
• Assess current CMDB maturity.
• Develop a roadmap aligned to ServiceNow CSDM.
• Rationalise CI structures and relationships.
• Map end-to-end data flows into ServiceNow.
• Document transformation logic.
• Assess data readiness for future ServiceNow capabilities.
• Define governance models including Data Owner and Data Steward responsibilities.
• Engage stakeholders and present recommendations to governance boards.
• Provide strategic architectural guidance throughout delivery.
• Ensure platform readiness for AI, IAM, and ITOM initiatives.
