Job summary

Sopra Steria’s Aerospace, Defence and Security business is seeking a Senior Service Manager to own a large and growing service, providing leadership across a broad Service Management capability and shaping its future direction.

The role requires MoD DV security clearance and is based in Farnborough with a hybrid on-site pattern (three days per week on site). You will lead a diverse team and drive transformation to improve performance and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Significant Service Management experience leading large-scale IT services.
• Proven people leadership across diverse teams.
• Experience in secure/regulatory environments and MoD DV security clearance.
• Strong strategic thinking and communication across stakeholders.
• Experience with ITIL practices and service transition.
• Ability to shape service strategy and roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy, performance, and future direction of a large service.
• Lead Service Managers, Service Desk leadership, and technical teams.
• Drive transformation, improvement of performance and customer experience.
• Develop clear service strategy and communicate to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with architecture, cyber, delivery and commercial teams.
• Build relationships with customer and Sopra Steria to grow capability.
