Job summary

Bupa is seeking a Senior Service Designer to join a multi-disciplinary experience design team in the UK. The role is hybrid, with two days per week in the office, permanent and full-time (37.5 hours). Salary ranges from £53,500 to £63,800 depending on experience.

You will lead service design initiatives, mentor designers, and collaborate with researchers and product teams to create accessible, customer-centered services that balance user needs with business goals.

Qualifications

• Experience creating journey maps, service blueprints and flows.
• Proficiency with Figma, Jira and Confluence for design workflows.
• Ability to mentor and coach other designers in service design.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end service design initiatives that transform how customers access products and services.
• Create visual artefacts such as blueprints, process maps and journey maps to align stakeholders.
• Collaborate with user researchers to validate hypotheses and ensure human-centred design.
• Lead workshops and cross-functional discussions to drive alignment and decision making.
• Balance business needs with customer needs and technical feasibility.
