FirstPort is recruiting a Senior Service Charge Accountant to join our Finance team. The role focuses on delivering accurate financial reporting for developments, residents and clients, with a 2-3 day weekly office presence in New Milton.

The candidate will handle year-end accounts, balance sheet analysis, and liaise with auditors, reporting to the Scheme Accounting Team Leader. Strong attention to detail and solid accounting experience are essential.

Competenze

• GCSE pass in English and a relevant math/accounting subject.
• AAT qualification completed or near completed.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an accounting environment.
• Double-entry bookkeeping and accuracy.
• Excel at least at an intermediate level; Word proficiency.

Mansioni

• Deliver year-end accounts to residents in a timely fashion.
• Carry out necessary transactions to maintain smooth accounting processes.
• Resolve issues on accounts and ensure quality service for customers/clients.
• Meet department productivity metrics and support team goals.
• Liaise with auditors to ensure smooth audit processes and best outcomes.
