Job summary

Fexco Property Services Group is seeking a Client Accountant to join the Accounts Department. Based in the Client Accounts Team, you will liaise with internal colleagues and external parties to prepare final financial statements for our clients.

You will analyse audit findings, assist with year-end statements, review budgets and balance sheets, and support with service charge accounts production. Strong MS Office skills and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant service charge experience gained in a Client Accountant position.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Highly analytical with an attention to detail.
• Exceptional organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines.
• An effective team player.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse audit findings on an Extended Trial Balance for external auditors.
• Produce periodic financial information including year-end final financial statements.
• Review financial position with property managers and directors where necessary.
• Liaise with auditors to track progress of service charge accounts production.
• Review budget pack production and work with Budgeting/Billing to ensure accuracy.
• Take control of balance sheet items to improve transparency and minimise risk.
• On-board and close off new/losing business financial information.
• Assist with internal and external queries as necessary.
• Prepare and issue Section 20B notices as required.
• Calculate, invoice and reconcile utility billings with managers, lessees and tenants.
• Learn and update skills through training; perform other ad-hoc duties.
