BARNARDO'S in Leicestershire seeks a Senior Service Administrator to join the Residential Services team in Coalville. The role supports children’s homes with admin, finance and operations, travelling regularly across eight houses to keep services running smoothly.

You’ll bring strong IT, organisational and communication skills, with experience in financial administration and a proactive, independent approach to work.

Qualifications

• Experience of managing, supervising or coordinating the work of a team.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office, spreadsheets and databases.
• Experience of financial administration, budget monitoring and reporting.
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• A methodical, accurate and analytical approach to work.
• Confidence working independently and using your initiative.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with colleagues, professionals and members of the public.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential administrative, financial and operational support to children’s homes.
• Coordinate and support multiple locations to ensure timely delivery of services.
• Assist with budget monitoring and reporting processes.
• Work closely with residential teams to maintain high standards of care.
• Support a growing residential service and contribute to daily service needs.
