Job summary

Barnardo's is seeking a Senior Service Administrator to join the Leicestershire Residential Services team. The role involves providing administrative, financial and operational support to children’s homes, with travel across eight locations in Coalville, Hinckley, Syston, Mountsorrel, Braunstone and Market Harborough.

You will work closely with teams to enable high-quality care for children and young people.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior administrative role within a busy environment.
• Experience of managing, supervising or coordinating the work of a team.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office, spreadsheets and databases.
• Experience of financial administration, budget monitoring and reporting.
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• A methodical, accurate and analytical approach to work.
• Confidence working independently and using your initiative.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with colleagues, professionals and members of the public.
• Flexibility to work across multiple locations and adapt to changing service needs.
