Job summary

Trio Media, a Leeds-based digital marketing agency, is seeking a Technical & Strategic SEO/GEO Lead to own client search performance and technical health. You will set roadmaps for SEO, GEO campaigns, and ensure crawler accessibility across AI platforms, collaborating with the SEO Content Manager.

In a dynamic, hybrid setting, you’ll lead on-site and remote client work, run audits, define keyword strategies, produce monthly reports, and present strategies to clients.

Qualifications

• Advanced technical SEO knowledge and experience with site architecture.
• Strong skills in structured data, canonicalisation and robots.txt rules.
• Experience using SEO tools and AI visibility platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own the SEO & AEO service for clients and communicate strategy clearly.
• Analyze market trends, competition and demand to design campaign plans.
• Run technical audits covering crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals and speed.
• Manage AI bot directives and build schema across client sites.
• Define keyword strategy and collaborate on content mapping with the team.
• Run monthly performance reports and configure GA, GSC, GTM and GEO tools.
• Prepare technical briefs for developers and oversee site migrations.
• Attend client meetings to present strategies and review performance.
