Job summary

eight&four, a London-born social and content agency, seeks an SEO & GEO Strategy Lead to shape how brands grow visibility across traditional search and AI platforms. You will work across Distribution, Editorial, Growth and Retainer teams to embed SEO and GEO best practices in client work.

You will drive modern approaches to search, combining strong SEO foundations with GEO expertise, while delivering consultancy to clients and internal teams in a rapidly evolving landscape.

Qualifications

• Experience leading SEO and GEO strategy across multiple channels.
• Ability to translate data into actionable frameworks for content teams.
• Proven client-facing consultancy across B2B/B2C and global accounts.
• Strong understanding of AI-enabled search and GEO benchmarking.

Responsibilities

• Drive SEO and GEO strategy across Distribution, Editorial, Growth, Retainer and Performance teams.
• Represent AI and Search function with senior stakeholders across lanes.
• Provide insights that inform monthly content calendars, proposals and campaigns.
• Translate AI citation gaps and GEO benchmarks into prioritised content opportunities.
• Partner with Growth on new business and pitches, selling the agency offering.
• Define and track GEO as an acquisition channel with measurement frameworks and reports.
• Report on SEO and AI visibility changes and share learnings with stakeholders.
