Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years integrating sensors or instruments onto vehicles or platforms.
• Mechanical: CAD, 3D printing, sealing and connectors.
• Software: Python and Linux.
• Electronics: wiring, power and serial protocols.

Responsibilities

• Scope integrations with customers: measures, power, data, mounting.
• Design brackets, housings and cable routes in CAD.
• Wire sensors into payload bay: power, RS232, RS485 and Ethernet.
• Write drivers and parsers in Python on Linux, get data into Tether.
• Test on bench and at sea, ensure data quality.
