Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking an experienced SENDCO for a Secondary Academy in North London. You will lead inclusive practice, guide support strategies and ensure students with SEND thrive academically and socially.

Based in Tottenham, this role focuses on strategic and operational leadership for SEND provision across the secondary phase, aligning with the school’s inclusive vision and statutory duties.

Qualifications

• Experience leading SEND provision in a secondary setting.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills for school-wide inclusion.
• Proven ability to develop and evaluate SEND strategies and interventions.

Responsabilités

• Lead and evaluate the school's SEND provision.
• Oversee identification and assessment of students with additional needs.
• Coordinate EHCPs and ensure compliant practice.
• Collaborate with teachers to differentiate lessons and provide adaptive strategies.
• Develop staff expertise in inclusive teaching and targeted interventions.
• Monitor impact of interventions on student progress.
• Engage with parents, carers and external agencies.
• Ensure SEND Code of Practice compliance and statutory responsibilities.
