Job summary

Protocol Education Limited is seeking an experienced Senior SEMH Teaching Assistant in Gateshead to support pupils with complex SEMH needs and to contribute to progress reviews. Protocol Education has an exciting opportunity within a specialist Gateshead setting for a strong behaviour practitioner ready to take on additional responsibilities and develop their career.

In This Role, You Will:

• Support pupils with complex SEMH needs
• Deliver interventions that improve outcomes
• Encourage positive behaviour and engagement
• Monitor progress and maintain detailed records
• Contribute to reports and review meetings
• Support planning and delivery of targeted support programmes

This role offers genuine opportunities to develop leadership skills, with responsibilities often associated with HLTA-level positions.

We're Looking For:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
