Job summary

adi Group is seeking an experienced Security Systems Technical Engineer to install, commission and deliver enterprise-level security systems across the UK. You will oversee projects from site to completion, collaborating with Project Managers, customers and engineers.

Key responsibilities include configuring platforms, leading on-site installations, mentoring junior engineers and ensuring NSI-compliant documentation and safety standards. Travel across the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in the Fire & Security industry.
• Experience delivering large-scale security projects.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise security systems.
• Relevant technical qualifications.
• Desirable SSSTS, SMSTS or IOSH.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and maintain enterprise-level intruder, CCTV and access control systems.
• Configure and commission security platforms (Gallagher, Lenel, CEM, Genetec, Milestone, Axis, ISM Genesys, Cortech).
• Lead site-based installations, provide technical support and mentor junior engineers.
• Manage on-site project activities, monitor progress and report to Project Managers.
• Produce commissioning records and project documentation per NSI standards.
• Build strong customer relationships and identify opportunities for additional works.
• Ensure all work adheres to Health & Safety legislation and risk assessments.
• Participate in on-call rota and support day-to-day operations.
