Job summary

Thredd is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to act as a security ambassador across the business in London, blending technical credibility with collaboration to influence engineering decisions and embed security into everyday work.

You will design secure-by-default cloud architectures on AWS, implement automated controls via policy-as-code and IaC, build security telemetry and dashboards, and mentor teams to raise the security posture while accelerating innovation.

Qualifications

• Embed security-by-design across initiatives and collaborate with IT, business, legal and external stakeholders.
• Design secure-by-default cloud and platform architectures with policy-as-code and infrastructure-as-code to improve reliability.
• Build and maintain robust security telemetry, dashboards, and reporting to support risk assessments, audits, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Embed security-by-design across initiatives to support trust and regulatory alignment.
• Design secure cloud architectures and automate security controls.
• Develop and maintain security telemetry pipelines and reporting for continuous assurance.
• Plan complex initiatives, enhance guardrails and validation across environments.
• Mentor and lead within the security architecture function.
