Control Risks is seeking an experienced Security Design Engineer to lead engagements, design physical and electronic security systems, and mentor junior staff. You will collaborate with Directors to grow the UK and Europe service line, develop IP, and support business development.

You will manage client relationships, lead technical security reviews, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams across projects, ensuring delivery within scope and budget.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and managing engagements to professional standards
• Membership in a security-related institute
• Security-related qualification
• Knowledge of national and international standards and installation practices
• Experience delivering physical and electronic security design across multiple sectors in the UK/Europe

Responsabilités

• Identify and pursue business opportunities
• Lead, manage, and design engagements including security reviews, audits, design surveys, and site inspections
• Produce reports, specifications, and drawings through RIBA stages
• Lead client meetings and act as trusted advisor
• Maintain financial forecasting, project planning, and invoicing
• Mentor and develop team members
• Develop client relationships and support business growth
