Job summary

Control Risks is seeking an Associate Director for its Built Environment and Infrastructure Design Consulting team in London. You will lead security design engagements from conception to completion, acting as SME for electronic and physical security systems while managing budgets, programs and client relationships.

You will support the Director, drive business development, and oversee design and delivery across multi-disciplinary teams, delivering high quality consultancy and ensuring client

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced diploma in risk management, design or related security, crisis and/or business continuity fields.
• Security related professional certification.
• Knowledge of design-related software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director with leadership and business development across the region.
• Undertake fee-earning consultancy including risk assessment, security strategies and master planning.
• Assist and design engagements including security reviews, audits, surveys and approvals.
• Design physical and electronic security systems with engineers from project teams.
• Act as trusted advisor and build client relationships across capabilities.
• Create proposals and build project budgets for sign-off by managers.
• Maintain financial forecasting, planning, resource planning and reporting.
• Plan and manage engagements, ensure quality and compliance with policies.
• Provide performance management input for team members.
• Lead adoption of innovative practices and coordinate with peers.
