Job summary

Control Risks Group is seeking an experienced Security Design Engineer to lead engagements across the UK and Europe. You will design physical and electronic security systems, prepare reports and drawings, and mentor junior staff while supporting business development.

You will work within a team to deliver professional security consulting within budget and scope, and contribute to service line growth, client relationships, and intellectual property development.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of national and international standards and installation practices.
• Experience delivering physical and electronic security design consulting across multiple sectors.
• Depth and breadth of securing projects from design to implementation within the built environment.
• Strong client relationship building and managing engagements to budget and scope.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and design security engagements including reviews, surveys, and inspections.
• Produce reports, specifications and drawings through RIBA Plan of Work stages.
• Mentor colleagues, manage budgets, and forecast financials for projects.
• Develop business opportunities and support regional growth in UK and Europe.
