Job summary

MrQ is seeking a founding security engineering leader to own the security discipline end to end. You will define the strategy, architect solutions, deploy tooling, write policies, run operations, and report posture to the business.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in security engineering, enterprise security or security operations.
• Hands-on deployment of enterprise security tools (EDR/XDR, SIEM, DLP).
• Experience with cloud security tooling (AWS, SSPM, CASB).
• Experience in audit/compliance (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).

Responsibilities

• Define and own the security strategy and multi-year roadmap.
• Architect and deploy enterprise security solutions across cloud, SaaS, endpoints, network and identity.
• Lead security operations, incident response, and runbooks; manage escalation procedures.
• Drive governance, risk, and compliance while reporting posture to leadership.
• Evaluate and deploy security tooling; lead vendor evaluations and POC decisions.
