Job summary

MrQ, an award-winning online casino, seeks a Principal Security Engineer to own the security engineering stack across AWS, SaaS, endpoints and identity platforms. You will architect, deploy and run enterprise tooling like EDR/XDR, SIEM, DLP and MFA, delivering high‑impact security initiatives in production.

Reporting to the Head of Security, you will lead detections, threat intel, vulnerability management and incident response while driving zero‑trust and compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2 and

Qualifications

• 6+ years in security engineering, enterprise security or security operations.
• Hands-on experience deploying, configuring, managing and troubleshooting enterprise security tools (EDR/XDR, SIEM, DLP).
• Expert‑level knowledge of IAM including SSO, SAML, OAuth, SCIM, MFA and passwordless with zero trust.
• Strong scripting and automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for detection engineering and security operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security architecture across cloud, SaaS, endpoints, network and identity.
• Run end-to-end security incidents including detection, containment and recovery with playbooks.
• Own vulnerability management program: scanning, prioritisation and remediation tracking.
• Develop and maintain detection rules, correlations and alerting mapped to MITRE ATT&CK.
