Job summary

Thames Water is seeking a Senior Security Architect to shape and govern security architecture across transformation programs. You will lead architecture strategy, domain leadership in IAM/PAM/SIEM/EDR, and ensure secure-by-design practices across the lifecycle.

You will work with Enterprise Architects, Security Engineering, and OT teams to embed security into delivery while aligning with ISO 27001/NIST CAF standards and supplier assessments.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Security Architect in complex enterprises.
• Ability to lead threat modelling and security risk assessments.
• Proven track record in secure-by-design architecture across cloud/hybrid/on-prem.
• Strong communication to stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Thames Water’s security architecture strategy and roadmaps.
• Lead security architecture workshops and assurance activities.
• Translate requirements into proportionate security controls.
• Collaborate with Enterprise/Solution Architects and SOC/IT teams.
• Ensure alignment with ISO 27001/NIST/CIS CAF frameworks.
