Made Tech is seeking a Lead Security Engineer to set technical direction for secure systems across complex government programmes in the UK. You will embed security into everyday delivery, design secure architectures, and drive threat modelling, tooling, and incident response as part of the cyber practice.

You’ll mentor teams, shape reference architectures, and collaborate with client engineers to raise security capability while balancing delivery velocity and risk.

Qualifikationen

• Design secure cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) at scale.
• Embed security tooling and automation into CI/CD pipelines and engineering workflows.
• Strong proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language.

Aufgaben

• Own end-to-end security architecture across engagements.
• Lead vulnerability remediation as an engineering programme.
• Embed threat modelling, secure code review, SAST, SCA, dependency policy, and container scanning into design and delivery cycles.
• Navigate UK government security standards with confidence — CAF, Cyber Essentials, HMG Security Policy Framework.
• Communicate security risk in terms that drive engineering decisions to senior stakeholders.
• Set the standard for incident response and detection engineering across engagements.
• Grow the people around you and mentor colleagues across the practice and client organisations.
• Contribute to Made Tech's Cyber practice beyond delivery and help grow a security engineering community.
