Job summary

Isomorphic Labs is seeking an experienced in vitro pharmacology expert to join the Translational Sciences team. You will design screening cascades, develop biophysical and cellular assays, and guide data-driven decision-making to advance drug discovery programs.

You will collaborate with world-leading ML and drug discovery experts to test biological hypotheses, bridging computational predictions with experimental validation and enabling IND-enabling data packages.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Biophysics, or a related scientific discipline.
• Deep knowledge of designing and implementing biological screening cascades in drug design projects.
• Strong ability to guide cross-functional programs and execution through collaboration.
• Experience with CROs for acquiring and interpreting high-quality biological data in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Design efficient and comprehensive biological screening cascades for internal and partnered drug design programs.
• Guide the optimization and implementation of biophysical and biochemical assays (e.g., SPR, ITC) to evaluate target interaction and potency.
• Develop and refine functional and phenotypic cellular assays to advance target validation and mechanistic understanding.
• Collaborate with CROs to design decision-making experiments and deliver high-quality data for IND-enabling packages.
• Interpret complex binding, kinetic, and dose–response information; produce precise technical documentation for strategic decisions.
• Bridge computational prediction and experimental data, partnering with AI/ML, Medicinal Chemistry, Structural Biology, and Translational Sciences teams.
