HR Wallingford in Wallingford, UK, seeks an experienced engineer/scientist for the Dispersion and Water Quality Team to model hydrodynamics and water quality for global projects.

You will manage projects, develop numerical models, and support concept design of intakes/outfalls, with proposals and reports for diverse clients. Proficiency in TELEMAC is a plus, and training may be provided.

Formación

• Degree in physical sciences, mathematics, or engineering.
• Postgraduate qualification in a related field.
• Experience coding in FORTRAN, Python and/or Matlab.

Responsabilidades

• Understand customer requirements and manage projects.
• Perform numerical modelling and analysis of coastal systems.
• Support concept design of intakes/outfalls and write proposals.
• Prepare reports and contribute to R&D activities.
• Engage with stakeholders and provide internal/external training.
