Job summary

Iveshead School, part of the Mowbray Education Trust, invites applications for a Senior Premises Officer to lead the Site and Premises Team. Based at Shepshed, you will safeguard buildings and grounds, oversee security, maintenance, cleaning, and compliance, and support the Operations Manager in day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• General building maintenance or DIY experience.
• Understanding of Health & Safety legislation and compliance guidelines.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Flexibility to work shift patterns and handle lone working duties when required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site security, alarm systems, emergency call-outs, and campus keyholding on a rota basis.
• Manage and assist with routine and reactive maintenance, minor repairs, cleaning standards, and event setups.
• Undertake and monitor statutory compliance testing (including swimming pool, water hygiene, and fire equipment).
• Oversee the work of grounds maintenance contractors and facilities support staff.
• Operate mechanical and electrical plant systems across the campus.
