Avanti Fields School is seeking a Senior Premises Officer to lead day-to-day site operations, maintain buildings and grounds, and coordinate cleaning teams and contractors. You will support security, health and safety compliance and help plan maintenance projects to keep the site safe and welcoming.

Working with the Principal and premises colleagues, you will ensure resources are used effectively and events run smoothly, including open evenings and weekend activities where required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Numeracy and Literacy.
• General knowledge of building maintenance procedures and relevant skills.
• Understanding of Health and Safety and security issues.
• Good communication skills; written and verbal.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Good organisational skills- ability to meet deadlines and make decisions in emergencies.

Responsabilités

• Maintain the school's premises, grounds and car park in a clean, tidy and safe condition.
• Receive, sort, distribute and dispatch incoming goods and mail, excluding specialist equipment.
• Set up rooms, furniture and equipment for scheduled activities and events.
• Monitor the school car park and enforce authorised use.
• Open and close the school premises, ensure security and manage equipment according to procedures.
