Job summary

Red House School in Norton-on-Tees is seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join the Senior School and work closely with the SENCo and teaching staff to support pupils in achieving their full potential. The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting children, with a strong SEND understanding and a commitment to inclusion.

You will deliver learning and intervention programmes, provide pastoral support, and assist with exam access arrangements to help pupils

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND (special educational needs).
• Commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in achieving their full potential within the Senior School.
• Contribute to delivery of learning and intervention programmes.
• Provide pastoral and emotional support where appropriate.
• Assist with exam access arrangements and accommodations as needed.
• Help pupils develop confidence and essential skills for progress.
