Job summary

Northampton Academy is seeking a Senior Facilities Assistant for a permanent, full-time role. You will perform hands-on maintenance, support event setup/breakdown, and help keep the campus safe, clean and welcoming for students and staff.

The position requires practical, proactive individuals with a focus on high standards of health and safety, and it offers a structured path with potential progression into management. This role is based on site with full-time hours during term time.

Qualifications

• Experience in hands-on maintenance or facilities role.
• Electrical, plumbing, gas or carpentry experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks across the Academy.
• Support setup and breakdown of school events.
• Help maintain health, safety and site presentation to a high standard.
• Ensure a safe, secure and well-maintained environment for students and staff.
