Job summary

One Degree Academy in North London seeks an outstanding Facilities & Estates Officer to keep the site safe, secure and well-maintained for students and staff. You will manage grounds, buildings, and infrastructure, coordinating with contractors and supporting events beyond normal hours.

Ideal candidates will bring a proactive, professional approach, embrace continuous improvement, and contribute to the academy’s growth as it expands its facilities and opportunities for staff development.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or above, or equivalent
• Right to work in the UK
• Experience in a facilities, maintenance, caretaking or estates environment
• Ability to operate safely and to a high standard

Responsibilities

• Ensure the site is safe, secure, well-maintained and welcoming for all users
• Maintain high standards across buildings, grounds and site infrastructure
• Liaise with contractors and external agencies to ensure work is completed safely and to standard
• Support events and operational activities outside normal school hours
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the academy environment
