ST BEDE'S SCHOOL TRUST SUSSEX is seeking two proactive Matrons for our Senior School in Upper Dicker, East Sussex. The roles cover pupil care, supervision of the Boarding House, and safeguarding duties, with a focus on wellbeing and supportive presence for students.

These permanent, term-time positions are 30 hours per week plus 3 weeks (36 weeks total) on a rolling weekend/evening rota. Salary £16,221.60 per annum (FTE £31,326.91) with staff benefits and parking for the Senior School.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and adolescents.
• Excellent communication and record keeping skills.
• Safeguarding knowledge and empathy in handling school life challenges.

Responsabilités

• Care for pupils and supervise boarding house routines.
• Ensure wellbeing and a safe, well-presented house environment.
• Maintain safeguarding policies and procedures and provide empathetic support.
• Be a reliable team player with availability for weekends/evenings on a rolling rota.
