Job summary

Proactive Global is recruiting a Senior Construction Manager to lead scenic construction and fabrication for large-scale events, exhibitions and bespoke installations. You will manage workshop teams, supervise workloads and deadlines, and coordinate with designers and production managers to deliver on time and to a high standard.

Strong carpentry/metalwork skills, the ability to read technical drawings and 3D models, and a proactive approach to health and safety will be required in this

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in scenic construction or related events environments.
• Excellent carpentry and/or metalwork skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings and 3D models.
• Strong budgeting and resource management knowledge.
• Proven leadership and team development abilities.
• Commitment to health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage scenic construction and fabrication projects from production to completion.
• Supervise workshop teams and manage workloads and deadlines.
• Estimate costs and manage project budgets.
• Coordinate production activities with designers and technical teams.
• Ensure accurate documentation and communication of assembly requirements.
• Maintain equipment and ensure maintenance schedules.
• Plan complex installations and large-scale fabrication projects.
• Identify and resolve technical fabrication challenges.
