As an SAP Engagement Manager, you will lead engagements to transform our client’s businesses throughout the full lifecycle of a project. The SAP Engagement Manager role is diverse and can involve input into the pre-sales cycle as well as delivery of the project or programme. Responsibilities include managing contract schedules, planning, mobilising, and leading the implementation of SAP and related software in Agile and Waterfall environments.

Hybrid working: Your work location will vary based on role, needs, and business requirements, combining company offices, client sites, and your home, but not 100% remote work.

Your role

• Contribute to sales processes and help shape new propositions
• Manage the handover from sales to delivery teams
• Deliver projects according to contract, managing scope, costs, quality, and client satisfaction
• Provide clear status and project reports internally and to clients
• Manage and motivate a high-performing team, supporting their development
• Maintain relationships at Senior Management level (CxO-1 or above)
• Ensure delivery governance, manage risks, quality, and KPIs
• Handle commercial, financial, and stakeholder management processes
• Maintain required Capgemini Engagement Manager certifications appropriate to project complexity

Your profile

• Experience with SAP delivery, including handover to support
• Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies
• Proven experience with SAP projects across various industries and clients
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• Experience managing large, global, distributed teams
• Enjoy mentoring and developing junior team members and sharing knowledge within the SAP practice

Your Security Clearance

Successful candidates must obtain Developed Vetting (DV) clearance, which requires residency in the UK for the past 10 years and other specific criteria. You will be asked about your eligibility during recruitment, including nationality and residence details. Some roles may be restricted to UK nationals for security reasons.
