Klarna is seeking a sanctions expert in Compliance to work across OFAC, EU, UK and UN regimes. You will identify impacts of sanctions changes, translate them into policy, and partner with product and business teams to embed requirements.

You will lead risk assessments and provide fast, confident guidance on policy implications, including PEP screening and model validation. You will collaborate with many teams, bridging policy, legal and product, ensuring precise decisioning and remediation

Qualifications

• Hands-on knowledge of OFAC, EU, UK and UN sanctions regimes and ability to translate designations into policy.
• Experience leading end-to-end risk and control assessments (e.g., annual sanctions risk assessment).
• Deep understanding of sanctions screening tools, matching logic, and data quality to guide technical teams.

Responsabilités

• Interpret new designations and regulatory changes and write outcomes into Group policies.
• Lead the annual sanctions risk and exposure assessment and translate findings into standards or risk appetite.
• Act as sanctions expert in NPA processes, advising product and business teams on policy requirements.
